Algorithms for estimating dissipation/rigidity characteristics, strength and stability of elastic vibration-absorbing couplings made of polymer composites are presented. The procedure for specification of allowable stresses including manufacture and operation aspects is established. An approximate method is suggested for prediction of dissipative properties of composite structures based on off-the-shelf software implementing numerical FEM analysis techniques.
