Summary

 
Object and purpose of research. This paper discusses two-layered solenoid of loading device. The purpose is to obtain correct estimate of electrodynamic forces acting on extreme loops of external and internal solenoid layers
Subject matter and methods.The study follows the expressions for electrodynamic forces, with application of special functions.
Main results. Development of electrodynamic force calculation method for two-layered solenoids by means of an auxiliary functions (its values are given in tabular form).
Conclusion. The paper demonstrates an example of electrodynamic force calculations for loading device solenoids intended to test power plants of ships.
