The paper investigates two propeller geometries of a large Arctic tanker with blade area ratio varying within wide limits. It provides comparative calculations for pressure distribution throughout the blades in non-uniform flow behind the hull, obtained in SPA2000 software package based on panel method of solving hydrodynamic problems.
