The paper systematizes prediction and monitoring experience of potential radiation exposure to the personnel employed in recovery and transportation of Kursk nuclear submarine. Such prediction and monitoring is based on use of dose coefficients (determined through analytical simulation) for most significant paths of radiation effects, as well as on results of on-site radiation measurements during recovery and subsequent transportation of the submarine to the utilization site.
