The paper investigates the effect of design measures intended to reduce gyration heeling of wedge-shaped ships. The study was performed both experimentally and analytically (using mathematical models of movement based on theoretical findings and model test results). The paper provides and assessment of efficiency of the design measures taken to reduce the gyration heeling.
