Valery A. Kaliyu

Head of Hydroacoustic Measurement Sector of Krylov State Research Centre, Associate Professor of Liberal Arts and Sciences College of St. Petersburg State University, Candidate of Technical Sciences (PhD), Associate Professor. v. A. Kaliyu has made significant contribution to the methodology and practices of ship acoustic signature measurements: he has developed fifteen measurement guidelines (certified and implemented) incorporated as appendices into the regulatory document. Under his scholarly advice a Cand. Sc. dissertation and 4 graduation projects have been defended. Two projects have been performed under grants of the Russian Foundation for Basic Research (RFBR).
