Summary

 
The purpose of this study was to estimate the residual strength of ship hull damaged in combat actions. One of the residual strength criteria for ship hull is stresses arising due to bending of ship hull damaged in combat on design waves.
The paper studies the stressed-strained state of ship hull structures taking into account the inflicted damage using finite-element analysis. The multi-purpose ANSYS software is used to develop a finite element model of the ship hull with specified structural damage.
