Alexander M. Vishnevsky

			Head of Ship Signatures and Ocean Physical Fields Division of Krylov State Research Centre, chairman of KSRC-based department «Physical fields of marine vessels and ocean» of SMTU, member of Expert Council on Navy & Shipbuilding at Russian State Commission for Academic Degrees and Titles (Ministry of Education and Science of Russian Federation), member of two dissertation councils (KSRC and Naval Academy), D.Sc., Professor. A. M. Vishnevsky is a recognized authority in ship signature management and leads the school of thought in ship electrodynamics. He guided the development of high-tech solutions and hardware for electromagnetic and corrosion protection implemented on more than 300 ships of various types, as well as elaboration and implementation of the new electromagnetic compatibility concept for prospective vessels and ships. His disciples include scientists with Сand. Sc. And D.Sc. degrees. A number of Cand. Sc and D.Sc. dissertations have been defended under his scholarly advice. Author of 8 patents for inventions.
