The paper suggests the way to expand spectral range of radar absorption in structural material by introducing conductive layers with certain spectral dispersion of conductivity. Solution to the reflection coefficient mitigation problem for a dielectric plate included determination of the optimal frequency relationship for the conductivity of the layer. Numerical study has shown that such layer reduces reflection coefficient from a dielectric plate within a wide frequency band, thus paving way to development of structural materials with enhanced specific strength and improved radar properties.
