Summary

 
Results obtained in the course of the work on developing polymer composite elastic clamping couplings, which differ from existing prototypes by high damping, are discussed. Two versions of the elastic coupling design are proposed, alongside with torque transmission and compensation of reciprocal displacements of coupled shafts, these designs permit to decrease amplitudes of resonance oscillations occurring in shafting. Justification of the selected materials is given.
