Summary

 
The necessity to know thermophysical parameters of composite materials is a relevant task in shipbuilding and aviation. There are no direct and reliable methods to measure these parameters, so there is a wide spectrum of opportunities to search these methods. The paper suggests an exclusive approach based on infrared imagery technology as a tool for indirect determination of radiating capacity of composite materials. To this effect, the sample under investigation is subject to controllable local heating with minimum heat losses, and the recording of the thermal field and its changes is performed with no heat leakages and no heat influxes. The paper provides measurement results and compares them versus the data obtained by other authors, as well as versus the results obtained by the author using different methods and tools.
