Summary

 
The theoretical analysis of the dynamic features of the engine being designed and the results of the corresponding calculations, however, allows to significantly reduce the likelihood of dangerous vibrations and helps, if necessary, to find the fastest and most reliable ways to eliminate them during the engine debugging. At present, theoretical research is underway aimed at developing methods for calculating the possible level of dynamic stresses in the main parts of a gas turbine engine (GTE). However, the introduction of such calculations into design practice is hampered by the impossibility of a sufficiently accurate assessment of both disturbing forces and vibration damping forces.
