This paper continues a series of articles on stability of shells with jogged generatrix (see Transactions of KSRI, issue 65 (349), 2011. The example of two cylinders with different diameters coupled by a conical interface shows that if outward and inward jogs are combined, the structure might buckle without straining (or with minor straining) of the middle surface, critical pressure decreasing significantly. The paper provides general recommendations on numerical calculations of such shells.
