Summary	The paper considers the results of theoretical and experimental investigations of back scattering of trihedral corner reflector near the sea surface. Such reflectors are widely used as calibration means for radar measurements. It is shown that trihedral corner deflector is not a point scatterer even at small elevation angles due to fluctuations of bistatic scattering cross-section
